About the Guild
Founded in 1963, the Terrebonne Fine Arts Guild began as a small group dedicated to enriching Terrebonne Parish through art and cultural outreach. Today, it has blossomed into a thriving community that welcomes artists and art lovers from surrounding parishes, uniting them through a shared passion for creativity.
Downtown Art Gallery 630, established in 1979, serves as a dynamic hub for the visual arts, offering inspiring exhibitions, engaging art classes for all ages, and hands-on community involvement. The gallery proudly showcases local talent and supports budding artists by collaborating with schools to host a parish-wide student art competition, fostering a love for art in our future generations.

Exhibition space is provided for active Guild members who serve as host or hostesses to keep the Gallery open Tuesday - Friday from 10 AM to 4 PM. Downtown Art Gallery 630 features paintings of various subjects; from South Louisiana scenes to florals, still life, and abstracts in all media - including oil, watercolor, pastel, mixed media, and photography. As always, the Gallery is open to the public free of charge for viewing its many exhibits.

Become a Sponsor
Sponsorship is an excellent way to show your advocacy for the Arts. At the guild, we offer exceptional gallery exhibits, art classes, demonstrations, competitions, and other unique opportunities to diverse groups. Funding helps with events, awards, a scholarship, and the everyday running of the gallery. Terrebonne Fine Arts Guild is an all-volunteer organization. Your sponsorship is crucial to the success of the guild and the promotion of the arts in our community. In return, sponsors gain visibility for their support of the arts on our website and on event flyers. Because the guild is recognized as a 501(c)3, financial sponsorship is tax deductible.
It is easy to become a sponsor. Donate by mailing to PO BOX 2002 Houma, LA 70361 or stop by the gallery and give us the good news! Checks should be made payable to "Terrebonne Fine Arts Guild." Please be sure to provide us with your contact information, including your email and phone number, so we can send you confirmation of your tax deductible gift. Thank you for your generosity!
