Elaine Madere will be exhibiting artwork as artist of the month for March. She is a native from Bayou Blue and graduated from Thibodaux High and Nicholls State with Math/Computer Science/Business Degree. She now spends winter and spring in Schriever and lives in the Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania for the remainder of the year.
Elaine is largely self-taught and paints in acrylic and watercolor. Her favorite subjects are landscapes and florals. An artist reception will be held on Saturday, March 22 at 1pm - 4pm.

Invitation: Adrian Naquin invites everyone to view his exhibit “Louisiana Impressions” at the Jean Lafitte National Park and Acadian Cultural Center at 314 St. Mary St. in Thibodaux until May 26. This exhibit includes over 30 watercolor paintings focused on Southern Louisiana bayou scenes, plantations, and wildlife. An opening reception will he held on Saturday March 8th from 3-4 PM.
